3 Levels to Boost Your Wedding Business

I’ve divided the 12 steps to get more wedding leads and bookings into three levels:

  1. Open for Business
  2. Authority and Credibility
  3. The Extra Mile

Is Your Wedding Company Open for Business?

When a bride or groom starts their online wedding planning journey – will they find your wedding business?

Do you have an up-to-date logo and cohesive brand?

Is your website representing your business in the best light?

I’ve seen so many wedding professionals start their wedding business off brilliantly, but they’re forgetting to ensure that their foundation is set up and strong before moving on to other areas of marketing.

For instance – they start with Facebook ads for lead generation but haven’t even set up an email sequence, or they submit an article for publishing in a magazine without having their website set up.

These are fundamental mistakes that you need to avoid if you really want to boost your wedding bookings.

Once you have established the basics of the first four steps, you can then progress to the next set of steps for building your authority and credibility in the wedding business space.

Does Your Wedding Business Have Authority and Credibility?

Have you started writing blog posts about weddings on a consistent basis?

Are you using Google Search Console?

Do you have a good online presence?

If you want to book more weddings – you will want to build a good and strong reputation in your local wedding industry. You can establish this quite easily in your industry and with brides-to-be – but there’s an extra step you need to look at:

Establishing E.A.T with Google!

E stands for Expertise

A stands for Authority

T stands for Trustworthy

Just like you need to showcase your expertise, authority, and trustworthiness to potential bridal couples – you need to do the same with your website if you want Google to rank your website.

I’ll do another article on this next week so be sure to check out the blog area for that post. Establishing authority and credibility will be the best thing you can do for your wedding business (in my opinion)

Are you Going the Extra Mile?

There are tons of wedding business marketing coaches and strategists offering great programs and courses for you to take. Take a look at The Wedding Business Expo for more ideas.

With my coaching program – I like to include an extra four steps to capitalize on wedding business growth – this part of the 12-step process is called The Extra Mile and covers steps such as referrals, in-person events, and paid ads.

Once you’ve established that you are open for business and have the necessary authority and credibility, you can move on to The Extra Mile steps, which will drastically push your wedding lead generation and booking potential through the roof.

Disclaimer – trying to do steps 9 to 12 without setting up steps 1 to 8 is a big mistake, and I cannot guarantee that you will get the same results for your wedding business.
