When I was wedding planning, I couldn’t bear to walk around in high heels or wear uncomfortable women’s suits on a wedding day. You might not realize it yet, but wedding planners do a lot of running around.

They don’t just stand there looking pretty with a clipboard in their hand. They move around… a lot!

My advice to anyone looking for a new wedding planner outfit for a meeting or a wedding day is to get a branded uniform.

I branded a black hoodie and wore that during wedding day setups and at the end of the day. I even wore it to some of my meetings. 

The bridal couples had no problem with it. However, if it wasn’t branded. I would’ve looked like a complete misfit.

You could get a branded tee shirt, a branded jacket, and like I did, a branded hoodie for those cooler days.

It’s easy and a lot more affordable to wear one outfit for every wedding that you work at, especially if it’s a comfortable outfit that will suit any environment.

I find, the more comfortable I am, the more confident I feel and the more relaxed the couple feels during the meeting.

I wore jeans to some of my meetings ON PURPOSE because I knew it would make the bridal couple feel more comfortable around me.

Some folk feels intimidated by corporate fashionwear so be sensitive to that and do what works best for your wedding planning company.

Obviously, if you’re a high-end luxury wedding planner dealing with exclusive weddings, you will want to wear a wedding planner outfit that complements that level of service.

If you feel like an idiot in high heels – don’t wear them! If you feel comfortable in smart jeans and a nice top, wear that!
