Spend as little as possible but in the right places!

I’m not your average wedding business marketer. I was a newly divorced single mother when I first started my wedding business so I had to learn how to market my wedding planning business with very little money.

Every cent I earned had to go towards my bills just to get by. However, I think that in the end, this approach paid off big time as I was a lot more successful than a lot of my industry friends that had a bigger budget to spend on marketing.

For those with limited budgets, I recommend allocating 10% of your monthly income to your marketing budget for your wedding business.

If you have a bigger budget available for marketing, I recommend allocating 10% of your monthly income to the marketing budget.

You may be wondering why I suggest only 10% of your budget should be spent on marketing your wedding business. My reason is simple.

  • 10% of $1000 is $100
  • 10% of $5000 is $500
  • 10% of $10000 is $1000

The more you earn, the more money you will have to spend on marketing, however, in my opinion:

There are so many free or affordable ways to market your wedding business. If you learn these strategies, you’ll only ever need to spend a small portion of money on marketing.

It is much wiser to spend your money on a couple of sessions with a wedding business coach or wedding business marketing specialist rather than just throwing spaghetti at the wall and hoping it sticks.

If you’re spending too much money on marketing your wedding business. I recommend stopping everything that you are currently doing to market your wedding company and starting all over again with a strategic marketing plan.
